ReceiptTrack

New systems in production and what we are building next

ReceiptTrack is now running on a newer production setup, and we are continuing to expand the product beyond receipt capture and expense review.

ReceiptTrack is now running on a newer production setup, and we are continuing to expand the product beyond receipt capture and expense review.

The current production work focuses on making the platform more reliable, easier to build on, and ready for the next set of features we want to bring to individuals, families, sole traders, and small businesses.

One of the biggest areas we are working on is Business Hub.

Business Hub is planned as a dedicated workspace for business users who need more than receipt tracking. The aim is to bring together tools for managing business records, invoices, expenses, accounts, reports, and day-to-day admin in one place. Over time, this should make ReceiptTrack more useful for small businesses that want a simple operational workspace without jumping between separate tools.

We are also working on Family shared accounts.

The goal is to make it easier for families and households to share receipt records, budgets, spending categories, and account visibility where appropriate. This is intended for people who manage shared expenses together and want a cleaner way to keep records organised across more than one person.

Mobile is another active focus.

ReceiptTrack is already available on Android, and we are continuing to improve mobile functionality so users can capture, review, and manage receipts more easily from their phone. This includes smoother mobile workflows, stronger app analytics, better account handling, and more complete feature coverage between the mobile app and the web workspace.

Work also continues on HMRC Making Tax Digital preparation.

Making Tax Digital remains an important direction for ReceiptTrack, but we are not publishing a release date yet. The work is still ongoing, and we will only announce availability when the feature set has been properly completed, tested, and verified. Until then, ReceiptTrack should be treated as a record-keeping and reporting support tool, not as live HMRC filing software.

In short, ReceiptTrack is continuing to grow in four main directions:

  • stronger production systems
  • Business Hub for business records and invoices
  • Family shared accounts
  • better mobile functionality
  • continued HMRC Making Tax Digital preparation
  •

We will share more updates as these systems move closer to release.
